Sunday, February 11, 2007 12:58:44 AM Today was probably one of the busiest this week. Today was our second show day in the Farmington area. This morning after our morning meeting we set to work unpacking the two trucks containing all of our equipment. Unfortunately the hydraulic pump on the lift on the back of our larger truck was broken so it took longer to get all of the heavier equipment down the ramp which we stole from the other truck. We finished setup around lunch time. The afternoon was spent on rehearsal for the show and then after we performed the show to a crowd of over 700. I think my fiddle part went especially well today. After the show we went out and talked to the audience for a bit then did what we call “strike” or tear down of everything on stage. Myself and Ryan from California are the “Truck Crew” meaning that we are the ones responsible for packing everything back into the trucks. Today I took the cube truck. I’m soo tired its indescribable. My room mate was snoring within a minute of going to bed. I know I’ll be doing the same shortly. Tomorrow it looks like my host family is taking us to the historic town of Durango and Silverton. Its All Good™
