Today is a great day so far. Although I had to get up really early this morning, it was really nice outside with the mists in the field and the sun just coming up. I arrived to the Figi Theater in Zeist just after 6:30. The rooms were all labeled and setup started. I announced the meal deals for the day. Lunch was at the Chinese restaurant next door. They served either fried rice or fried noodles, everyone I talked to agreed that it was one of the best lunches they’d had in a while. I’ve spent most of the day in the staff workroom thus far and its actually been quite boring. I guess its better to be a student, well, except the 12K US price tag that I won’t be forgetting about any time soon. Today I had brought along my Airport Express as to use internet. I figured it would make my day much better, unfortunately, it just ended up getting me in more trouble. Ah well, to hell with this program. I’ll have to be honest, I’m not a very big fan of UWP at the moment. I mean, I have this overwhelming fear that I’m never going to fit back into the group after having such an absence doing advanced work and being out because of my car accident. It makes me wonder, was I ever really a part of this group anyway? It seems to me that more people are pissed of or irritated at this point than ever before. That being said, many other people seem to be far closer and clicks have developed with out me. I don’t really care for those sorts of thing s anyhow. I’ve got all the friends I need. Lol, that sounds really bad; but its true. I really don’t care, I’m going to marry my best friend so what does it matter if I get to know these people. I never really joined UWP to make friends, it was something for my resumé, a way to travel around the world and to see and experience different places. All being said, I’m not about to give up. I’m going to try more to voice my opinion and let people know when I don’t agree with them. Perhaps next week will be better. Fingers are crossed. In any case, I’ll be home in less than 57 days. (not that I’m counting or anything...)

Some Quotable Quotes
“Do you want to go outside and pass out?”
“Lets Bake Something”
“Damn, I’ve lost my Eyelash!”

Anyhow, both of the show went well. The crowds were bigger than we had expected, and hoped. I got to watch the show for the first time (and second time as there were two shows). The first time I was really critical and picked out all of the mistakes, there were a number of them. The Swedish girl who played my fiddle part in my absence has.... A very different style than I. Perhaps they’ll ask me to play it again next week. The crowds went absolutely nuts! Supper was catered by the hotel and was very delicious. The second show was even more intense. Both of the shows had encores and new music, added since I had been in it last. I think its going to be less stressful next week, but at the same time it could be even more stressful with having to learn all the new stuff and be expected to jump right into the regimented student regime, instead of the self regimented staff routine.

Sometime after midnight.
I didn’t get home until after 1am because we had to drop off Jorn, Gabe, and Karin in Utrecht. I almost fell asleep in the car and when I got home I fell onto my bed and immediately to sleep.

I'm in the paper!!
There is a fly drawn on all of the urinals, I thought it was to remind people to zip up their flies, but upon asking a local, I was informed that it was to help improve aim.
