Today was a long day, not as long as tomorrow will be, but none the less... Greg and I enjoyed the usual breakfast today and were dropped off at the tram station by our host father. Along the way we ran into Renee and Aria; who is leaving us to go back to Canada to continue her physiotherapy. Upon arriving at the youth center we found a sealed envelope on a chair on stage. Basically, the staff weren’t going to show up today; they were going to let the interns deal with running the day. I’ve got to say, it went very well. I headed to my CI site, fiddle in hand. Despite our best efforts, we were unable to finish the music to our lyrics as people were in playing the massive pipe organ all day in preparation for a concert tomorrow night. I wish I could go to that instead of doing our show. Anyway, at around 2 in the afternoon we headed to a nearby park where we joined another CI project where some of our students were learning to break dance from a local group. Since we had no music, I played a few Newfoundland fiddle tunes for them; they all applauded loudly. We read our lyrics and then they did their break dance routine. We had supper back at the youth center with all of the CI people. The meal itself was cooked by the people at one of the CI sites. Afterwards all of the CI sites did a presentation and then we did a BTS (short version of our big show) then Greg and I headed home. Its all Good™
