Yesterday I forgot to mention some things that really had an impact on me. The people that went to VOA learned that just yesterday one of the kids in their after school program was shot in a gang fight. Violence is still very much a major problem here its just that it happens so much that not every story gets told by the media. As I’m sure is the case for many places, its become so commonplace that people are “desensitized” to it.

Today has been interesting day so far. I’ve been undecided about how to feel; I thought I got to bed early last night and I certainly slept in another half hour this morning but I still feel “crappy”. Not even 2 cups of coffee seems to perk me up this morning. Things haven’t gone the smoothest either, but I don’t have a reason to be feeling down, I just am. Perhaps I’ll pick up again after being out in the sun slashing some brush. Its all Good™.
