Well, I’ve managed to somehow make it onto the bus and find a seat. I’m sitting right up front; practically next to the driver. Its a great view but I definitely won’t be sleeping. We’ve got a ferry to catch 3 hours ahead of us.. Total travel time today is approximately 12 hrs. Its quite a bright sunny day, but a bit on the chilly side. I have to say, I thin k that my host family were really genuinely nice people, thats not always easily found these days. Being back with the cast, lots of people are tired and cranky and I just get in their way. Ah well, I’m probably not talking to anyhow today, but thats ok. Its all Good. 41 and a bit days till home. We’ll see how things go.

Well, we just got off of our first ferry of the day. It was about a 45 minute crossing from Germany to Denmark. It was significantly colder than inland where we were in Bremen this morning. I got to wear my toque and scarf which were much need cause it was pretty darn windy. The currency conversion to the Danish Krown is about 7.44 Krowns to 1 Euro, talk about your math muddle eh? Ah well, I’m glad to find a place that’s currency is less than the Canadian one. Anyhows, the landscape is pretty unchanged so far today, save the ocean. We’ve got another ferry to go in about 3 more hours. It was great to be on the ferry again; kinda reminds me of going home to Newfoundland. One thing I didn’t expect to see was that there was a train on the ferry, when we docked, it just drove off. I’m developing a wicked headache, probably from the 45 minutes of sleep in the past 2 days. We’ve got to come up with our own CI project for Wednesday next week, I have no idea what I’m going to do, I just hope I’ve got some internet this week; fingers are crossed.
And Now, some thoughts on Canada. I still have yet to find a better place than Canada to live, I highly doubt that I ever will. I really can’t wait to get back.

We’re on the second ferry of the day, going from Denmark to Sweden. We’re about 3 hours out of Gothenburg; but we’re stopping for a while in about an hour. People are starting to annoy me. I don’t know why. Anyhows, We’ll be there in not too long. Although if we stop somewhere I can’t buy anything because I don’t have any swedish money. Ah well. Its all good I suppose, at least I haven’t joined the ever growing smokers circle. The outside temperature is 14°C with clear sunny skies and slight breezes.

Yay for Sweden, unfortunately I can’t buy anything till I get my money exchanged. The Parents of one of the swedish girls were being introduced to everyone, but when they got to me, they instantly recognized me cause they were always reading my blog. The sandwich that my host mom made me this morning was good, but its wearing rather thin at the moment. Menthos mints aren’t that filling. Ah well, 178 km to Gothenburg.

Host pick up went well, we were all given a different type of candy and our host families, “Fished” for us by attaching the same candy to a string on a pole and throwing it over a curtain. Its kind of like those old “Fish Pond” kind of things you might have seen at a fair or something. Anyhow, I’m staying with an American Swedish family this week. Both of them Are UWP Alumni, having also travelled as staff, and even cast manager for several years in the 90’s. This week my room mate is one of the advanced team members so I’ve got to be early to everything and late to leave this week; Yulin, from China. This week is going to be far less challenging than last week, although it was fun, because Everyone speaks english as their main language.
