Well, its been a pretty laid back kind of day so far. This morning, I slept in about 15 minutes too long and I almost missed breakfast. Fortunately, I didn’t. We had sticky rice with pork, mango, some mixed vegetables, and something that was kind of but not really like beef jerky. It was all good. My host dad dropped me off to the Convention center at the university before heading off to another meeting of his. I don’t think I’ve ever seen someone work so hard and all the time. The only time when my host dad is not doing work, is when he’s driving of sleeping. In the morning, I was signed out for vocal workshops on the Thai songs and we’ve just had lunch.

Rehearsal went well in the afternoon and we’re quite ready I think for the performance this evening. The most worrisome part though is the technical aspect of the show as we are dealing with all new equipment and facilities. I have just received word that our lighting board has gone on the fritz and entire show program has been lost, which means that they’ll have to make it all up, this is going to be interesting.
Supper was some of the most “western food” we’ve had on operational days here in Thailand, rice, tuna casserole, spring rolls, and really good stir fry chicken. Its all good.
[Update] The Show was awesome, with well over 2500 people in attendance.
