I also took today off as I was certainly not feeling yet 100% better. I fear it may be some time before I make a full recovery but for the time being I can make it well enough. I’ve decided to go in tomorrow and try and participate in the admissions work. Today was up and down. This morning I woke up earlier than yesterday which is a good thing. Having a burrito for breakfast along with some coffee I was feeling decidedly better than yesterday. It wasn’t until I tried to play my fiddle in the afternoon that I got a bit scared. I found it extremely difficult to even play a tune. Hoping for better playing better I took a nap. It ended up being far longer than I had anticipated as I slept clean through till near 7pm when it was time for supper. One of their grandmothers was over for supper tonight and so I made my Newfoundland presentation to everyone after supper including pictures, maps, and some fiddle music. I Finally got my chance to to play the Tennessee Waltz in Tennessee. I guess the sleep did me well as I noticed an improvement in my playing. Talking about the program I am going to meet with another nephew in the family tomorrow night who is very interested in finding out about the program; I say, its all Good™. Later on we noticed flashing lights out on the street. We went for a look and found a house was being moved down the street on a flatbed truck. Unfortunately it was leaving a large swath of destruction behind it with broken mailboxes, street signs, and other such driveway markers. I took some photos and we enquirer with the driver as to where they were heading. They were taking the house all the way to Springfield Illinois. Being a responsible neighbour, my host mom phoned the police and reported what was happening. I turned my pictures over to her in and she is going to make some fliers with the contact info of the moving company if there are any damage claims to be dealt with. I hope to go in tomorrow and get back somewhat into the swing if things. We’ll see how it goes. Its all Good™
